Description:
The IS230PCAAH1A is a Core Analog Module designed for the Mark VIe system. It is developed by General Electric. A large portion of the analog signal I/O required to operate a gas turbine is provided by the Core Analog (PCAA) module and associated Core Analog (TCAS and TCAT) terminal board. Thermocouple inputs, 4-20 mA current loop I/O, seismic inputs, Linear Variable Differential Transformer (LVDT) excitation and inputs, pulse rate inputs, and servo coil outputs are all provided by PCAA and TCAT.
The module is suitable for use in simplex, dual, and TMR systems. A single TCAT terminal board distributes signal inputs to one, two, or three PCAA modules. The IS230PCAAH1A, a Core Analog Module specifically designed for the Mark VIe system, was created by General Electric. This module, along with the Core Analog (TCAS and TCAT) terminal board, plays a pivotal role in delivering a substantial amount of the necessary analog signal I/O for the efficient operation of a gas turbine. GE IS230PCAAH1A is usually an electronic module used to control and monitor gas turbines or other combustion equipment. They play a key role in the control system of gas turbines to ensure the stability, reliability and efficiency of the combustion process.
The GE IS230PCAAH1A is a high-performance analog input/output (I/O) module, specifically designed for industrial automation and control systems. As a component of the Mark VIe control system by General Electric, it facilitates accurate and reliable data acquisition and control, supporting a range of analog signals crucial for efficient system performance. The IS230PCAAH1A is integral for monitoring and controlling industrial equipment, particularly in power generation, oil and gas, and other complex industrial environments requiring precise analog signal handling.
The IS230PCAAH1A module is powered by a 28 V dc power connector and two RJ45 Ethernet connectors. On the module's edge, 120 Euro-style box terminals provide field device I/O. Power is supplied to a JGPA board via connector P4. The module is connected to TCAT via two 68-pin cables on connectors P1 and P2. PCAA signals are divided into two groups. The TCAT terminal board routes signal inputs that can be fanned from a single input into a single, dual, or TMR PCAA module. Signals dedicated to a single PCAA module are wired to terminals. If the fanned inputs are not required, PCAA can be used without TCAT.
