The MKVI is one of the most recent steam/gas heavy-duty turbine management systems in the Speedtronic line released by GE. The MKVI offers complete control, protection, and monitoring of heavy-duty turbine systems, and is adaptable and scalable for the use in a variety of applications. The MKVI is based around a 13- or 21- slot VME card rack Control Module. The IS200BPIAG1AEB provides a connection between the control and power electronics of an IGBT ac drive. The IS200BPIAG1AEB is designed with seven board connectors. This includes its primary P1 connector that connects into the rack system and handles a variety of signals, including gate drive and shunt fault signals, application data from the BPIA board, and some bridge control connections. The board has six other male vertical pin connectors (APL, BPL, CPL, AAPL, BAPL, CAPL,) that provide connections to the phase A/B/C IGBTs.
