Description:
IS200ISBBG1A is an Insync bus bypass card developed by GE. It is a part of EX2100 excitation system. The module incorporates a JP1 Interlock Bypass feature, which provides enhanced flexibility and control over the interlock functionality. The interlock bypass allows users to temporarily override the interlock system, enabling specific operations or functions to proceed even when certain interlock conditions are present. Designed to be compact, allowing for easy installation and integration into control systems. It is typically mounted on DIN rails, which are standard mounting rails used in industrial applications. The module's size and form factor make it suitable for space-constrained environments, providing flexibility in installation.
The IS200ISBBG1A is populated by two relays with printed relay diagrams. The board has a yellow LED indicator labeled XMIT Data and a green LED indicator labeled Interlock Active. It has two rectifier diodes, a single integrated circuit, one jumper switch, several ceramic capacitors, metal film resistors, and diodes. The board’ s jumper can be set to 1-2 (unbypassed) or 2-3 (bypassed.) Other board components on the IS200ISBBG1AAA include one two-position terminal strip, labeled 24 VDC Input and three female plugs. These are labeled RCV Data In, XMIT Data Out, and Full Duplex. Refer to publications from GE (manuals, data sheets, user guides) for more information on this product. Equipped with four connectors to facilitate connections with off-board components or other modules. These connectors include three plug connectors labeled as P1, P2, and P3, and a terminal strip labeled as P4. The specific functions of these connectors are identified as follows: P1 - Full Duplex, P2 - XMIT Data Out, P3 - RCV Data In, and P4 - 24 VDC Input. The connectors provide convenient interfaces for data exchange and power supply connections.
The IS200ISBBG1A is a board component manufactured by General Electric as part of its Mark VI system. The Mark VI was one of the last of the long-running and successful Speedtronic line of gas and steam turbine management systems produced by GE for decades. The jumpers on the IS200ISBBG1AAA model have two settings. One is bypassed, and the other is unbypassed. The bypassed jumper is 2-3, and the unbypassed jumper is 1-2. For more information on the difference between the two jumpers, refer to any of the available documentation that you can find. The IS200ISBBG1A functions as an Insync Bus Bypass card. It is a small circuit board with several factory-made drill holes located in each corner. Four of these are encircled with a conductive material; these are labeled E1 through E4. In some cases, these holes are used to mount the card to DIN rails. The board also carries its board number and the codes 6BA01 and 6DA01.
