Dowsil 3-1965 is a one-part, solventless, low viscosity conformal coating designed to provide reliable protection for electronic components. It cures at room temperature and offers a soft, low-stress elastomeric finish. This product is qualified to UL V-0, Mil-I-46058C Amendment 7, and IPC-CC-830 Amendment 1 standards, ensuring its suitability for a wide range of applications.
One of the key features of Dowsil 3-1965 is its low viscosity, which enhances its ability to flow and fill in narrow gaps and spaces, ensuring comprehensive protection for intricate components. The coating cures to a soft, low-stress elastomer, which helps to relieve stress on sensitive components and interconnections. It has a UL Flammability Classification of 94 V-0, making it suitable for applications requiring high flame resistance.
