Electrolube SGB is a specialized contact treatment grease developed as an extension of the No. 2 Range (including SGA and SOA) to enhance plastics compatibility for modern electronics and automotive applications. This synthetic grease improves electrical contact performance and longevity by increasing effective contact area, preventing arcing, and reducing wear. It is highly stable, fully inhibited against oxidation and copper corrosion, and offers excellent penetration and cooling properties. SGB is designed for use on clean, dry surfaces and can be applied manually or via automated dispensing systems to protect against contamination and tarnishing during manufacturing.

Building on the parameter table, SGB's special attributes include an extended temperature range (-35°C to +130°C) for harsh environments, ensuring reliable performance in both cold and high-heat conditions. Its low evaporation weight loss (3.73% at 100°C and 3.90% at 125°C) and high drop point (250°C) contribute to long-term stability and minimal degradation. The grease's clay thickener and poly alkylene glycol base oil provide superior lubrication, with a viscosity index of 214 ensuring consistent flow across temperatures. Additionally, its low cone penetration values (e.g., 310 un-worked at 20°C) and NLGI 1 consistency enable easy application and effective sealing.
