Product Description

The structure of the optical cable is to insert single-mode or multi-mode optical fiber tape into a loose tube made of high modulus plastic filled with waterproof compound. The center of the cable core is a metal reinforcing part. For some optical cables with certain core numbers, a polyethylene pad layer is extruded outside the metal central reinforcing part. Loose tubes (and filling ropes) are twisted around the central reinforcing member to form a compact and round cable core. The gaps inside the cable core are filled with water-blocking compound, and then a steel-polyethylene bonded sheath is extruded to form the cable.

Product features

The steel tape longitudinally wrapped around the cable core makes the optical cable have a better moisture-proof effect, and at the same time, it has certain compressive resistance and the ability to prevent damage from rodents.
Ribbon optical fibers significantly increase the density of optical fibers and the amount of fiber installed in optical cables. They are convenient to lead out in the middle of the fiber band, easy to connect, convenient to clean, and have low installation costs.
