Product Description


The AM940U10WG1M is a 940nm 10W uniform line laser module designed with a precision Powell lens to generate a sharply defined, uniform-intensity laser line with a 120° fan angle and a line width of ≤20mm at 4 meters. This makes it ideal for long-distance infrared alignment, industrial vision systems, and structured light projection.


Unlike conventional line lasers that use cylindrical lenses and generate a Gaussian intensity profile—brighter at the center and dimmer toward the edges—the Powell lens transforms a Gaussian spot beam into a line with uniform brightness across its entire length. This uniform distribution is critical for accurate illumination, precision measurement, and machine vision inspection, especially in automation or robotics environments.


This model also features an external potentiometer for easy power adjustment, allowing fine-tuning for specific applications. Its integrated thermal control system enhances internal heat dissipation, ensuring stable performance and extended lifetime under continuous operation.
