Surface Treatment:
Product Display:
Corrosion Resistance: Performs moderately well in mild environments (such as dry atmosphere, weak acids), but is far inferior to 304 stainless steel. Not resistant to chloride ion corrosion (such as seawater, salt spray), and prone to rust.
Magnetism: The ferritic structure gives it magnetic properties, suitable for scenarios requiring magnetic attraction (such as electrical panel).
Workability: Good cold working performance, but poor deep drawing performance (prone to cracking); grain coarsening after welding may lead to brittleness.
Heat Resistance: Oxidation resistance up to 800°C, but high-temperature strength is lower than 304.
Cost Advantage: Due to the absence of nickel, the price is significantly lower than 304 stainless steel.
