1550C High Alumina Refractory Bricks For Industial Furnace
High-Alumina Bricks are mainly made from chamotte, being high pressure pressed and sintered in high temperature. Main minerals compositions are mullite phases. These products are widely used in all parts of furnace lining for middle and small capacity blast furnaces because of their excellent physical and chemical properties in high temperature. It also can be used in lining for other kinds of furnace.
One of the important working properties of High-alumina refractory bricks is the structural strength at high temperatures. The high-temperature creep properties are also measured to reflect the high-temperature structural strength. From the test, we knew that, with the increase of the Al2O3 content, the structural strength also become higher.

Application:
High-Alumina Bricks that mainly used for lining blast furnaces, hot blast stoves, electric furnace tops, blast furnaces, reverberatory furnaces, rotary kilns. In addition, high-alumina bricks are also widely used as open-hearth regenerative lattice bricks, plugs for pouring systems, nozzle bricks, etc.
However, the price of high alumina bricks is higher than that of clay bricks, so it is not necessary to use high alumina bricks where clay bricks can meet the requirements.
