The 1756-A10 Standard Chassis by AB is an I/O chassis in the 1756 ControlLogix System with a maximum capacity of 10 slots. It has a horizontal specialized panel mounting style and the backplane module slot allows for high-speed communication between the modules installed on it. The 1756-A10 has a backplane electrical rating of 1.5 A/1.5A backplane current between the chassis and slots (chassis/slot) at 1.2V, one of 4/4A at 3.3V, and one of up to 2.8 A/2.8 A at 24V. It has a 5-Watt power dissipation (6.1 BTU/hr Thermal dissipation equivalent), and it has a maximum operational power consumption of 1.8W. It is designated with a T5 environmental temperature code (North America), and with a T6 IEC code (European Union). The 1756-A10 also has an open-style enclosure. It has an operating temperature between 0 and 60 °C (32 and 40 °F) at 5-95% non-condensing humidity and it is shipped at a temperature range between -40 and 85 °C (-40 and 185 °F). It has an IEC 60068-2-27 rated operational shock withstand of 30G and it can sustain a vibration of 2G at 10-500 Hz when operational. The 1756-A10 has a cabinet dimension of 20 x 30 x 8in. and it weighs 3.2lb.
