Product Details
The 1756-L63S is a ControlLogix Allen Bradley product that features a GuardLogix controller with an I-O memory of 478 KB. This product is equipped with a vast 8 MB user memory and is capable of OS upgrades, user program storage, and data retrieval by way of memory cards. Based on RS Logix 5000 software version 18 or later, this upgraded unit uses the full benefits of a memory card.
For safety-related functions in the 1756-L63S system, an isolated second channel is provided by the coprocessor safety partner. There is no key switch or communication port available and the entire operation and configuration are operated and controlled by the primary controller. Physical connections between a GuardLogix controller and modules are supported by the ControlLogix chassis.
The 1756-L63S controller is equipped with a built-in lithium battery; its primary controller exhibits numerous beneficial points like report generation, arithmetic computations, data file manipulation, I/O control and much more.
The controller system combines an array of modes like RUN, PROGram, and REMote. Its exclusive key switch positions are neatly placed on the body of the device for smooth and controlled functioning, and its power supply is highly suitable for SIL 3 applications. It does not require any kind of additional configuration or wiring for power supply operations.
