Carbon fiber tube is manufactured predominantly using high modulus prepreg carbon fiber oriented to provide maximum strength in the lateral (length-ways) axis ensuring that the tube has good crush-strength; ideal for real-world applications. Their superior mechanical properties make the tubes with the same weight as an aluminum or steel tube and can be much stronger and lighter.
Carbon fiber is a new type of fiber material with high strength and a high modulus of carbon content of more than 95%. It is composed of organic fibers such as flake graphite microcrystals piled up along the axial direction of the fiber. The microcrystalline stone ink material obtained by carbonization and graphitization is a composite material. The strength is more than 4 times that of aluminum alloy.
