This coil slitting knife is made of solid tungsten carbide, which is commonly used for CRGO slitting.
For silicon steel slitting, you may use steel slitting knives for CRNGO slitting, but for the tough work of CRGO slitting, carbide coil slitting knife is the perfect solution. While steel knives may not last more than 1 hour when working on CRGO, carbide knives can keep working for months before it need grinding.
