How to Use
1. Preparation
Ensure the brake tester is clean, functional, and set to calibration or maintenance mode.

2. Install the Calibration Instrument
For Roller Brake Testers: Mount the calibration lever or torque arm onto the roller shaft.
For Plate Testers: Place the calibration force sensor or weighted load on the test plate.
For Deceleration Testers: Use the dynamic simulator to apply reference braking force.
3. Apply Known Force
Use the calibration device to apply a known force or torque (e.g., 1,000 N or 2,000 Nm) to the brake system.
Record the brake tester’s reading and compare it with the actual applied value from the calibration instrument.
4. Compare and Adjust
Calculate the error or deviation.
If the deviation exceeds allowed tolerance (e.g., ±3%), adjust the tester’s internal calibration parameters (software scaling, sensor offset, etc.).
