It also performs a higher stock removal rate and will last for years. They are designed for sharpening wood band saw only and should not be used for other applications

Different wheel profiles for all kind of wood and seasons are available:
Few mostly used tooth angles, other angles are available as well.
10/30-universal grinding wheel profile, which is used mostly.
9/29- for winter time cutting suitable profile. Sometimes used to cut harder wood as well.
13/29- for soft wood cutting
4/32- for cutting very hard wood or deeply frozen wood.
7 degree profiles- special angles for cutting hickory, white oak, ash, hard maple and other wood.
