What Is Glass Fused to Steel Liquid Storage Tanks
By burning at over 850°C furnace, the glass coating bonds with the steel plate. The compilation of two material- glass coating and steel - is not just physical but also chemically bonding. Seeing from the microscope, you will see the coating permeates into steel. Other than painted steel tank which will peel off after a period, a glass-coated steel tank does not need to paint at Jobsite. It needs minimum maintenance during the lifetime . Besides, other than welded steel tanks whose installation needs skilled welders, a glass-coated steel tank does not need skilled laborers.
