Elaboration of our enamelled steels
Enamelled steel, also known as glass-lined steel or glass-fused-to-steel, is the result of coating the steel with glass in fusion at high temperature ( 820°C-930°C ). The enamelling of steel for the construction of tanks, is a process requiring considerable know-how and involving many inspection stages in order to guarantee “zero defect” quality reliably and continuously. Glass Lined Steel Holding Tanks are a long-term temporary solution for sewage disposal. The tank retains waste until the tank is emptied. Our Glass Lined Steel Septic Holding Tanks are made of Glass Lined Steel which combines the strength and flexibility of steel and the corrosion resistance of glass.so Glass Lined Steel tanks can provide many advantages over standard epoxy or welded painted storage tanks. Glass Lined Steel technology is the premium coating technology in the storage tanks market.
Glass Lined Steel Holding Tank is bolted type . Factory fabricated steel panels are bolted together by high grade bolts and sealed by silicone sealant . The glass fused steel tank is gas and liquid impermeable . When make the installation , it is usually assembled from top to bottom , which the top rings is firstly connected and then next ring .... till the bottom ring . Lifting system like jacks or steel poles are used to lift the tanks which give access to workers to assembly the next rings .
