Step-by-Step Powder Coating Process
Surface Preparation – Aluminum profiles are thoroughly cleaned and degreased to remove all contaminants, ensuring optimal adhesion.
Pre-Treatment – Profiles undergo chemical treatment (such as phosphating or chromate conversion) to increase corrosion resistance and enhance powder bonding.
Drying – Moisture is removed in drying ovens to guarantee a clean, dry surface before coating.
Powder Application – Using electrostatic spray guns, charged powder particles are evenly deposited on the grounded aluminum profiles.
Curing – Heat in curing ovens melts and cross-links the powder, forming a strong, smooth, and durable coating layer.
Cooling – Profiles are cooled to stabilize the finish and preserve its properties.
