Peach gum, also known as peach blossom tears or peach resin, is a reddish-brown or yellowish-brown gum substance secreted in the bark of plants such as Prunus persica (L.) Batsch of the peach or Prunus davidiana (Carr.) Franch of the Rosaceae family. 70% to 80% of its components are peach gum polysaccharides. Broadly speaking, the gel-like substances secreted by plants of the Rosaceae family such as apricot trees and cherry trees can also be called peach gum.

Peach gum is a natural resin secreted by peach trees. Traditionally, it has been used to nourish Yin, moisten dryness, and beautify the complexion.
