Rogers RT/duroid 6202 high frequency circuit materials are laminates with low loss and low dielectric constant. They are designed with a limited woven glass reinforcement, providing essential electrical and mechanical properties.
The RT/duroid 6202 laminates are ideal for designing complex microwave structures that require both mechanical reliability and electrical stability. The addition of limited woven glass reinforcement ensures excellent dimensional stability, typically ranging from 0.05 to 0.07 mils/inch. This reinforcement often eliminates the need for double etching to achieve tight positional tolerances.
Features
RT/duroid 6202’s dielectric constant (Dk) ranges from 2.94 to 3.06, depending on the thickness, with tight tolerance of ±0.04. It exhibits a remarkably low dissipation factor of only .0015 at 10GHz. Furthermore, the material showcases a low thermal coefficient of Dk at 5 ppm/°C.
