This product is a aluminum rail used for 18mm terracotta panel facade support system. Its model number is JL-T-1860, which is a structural frame system used to support and secure terracotta facade and is a crucial component of building facade system.This rail system originated in Germany, developed by Professor Thomas Herzog in the 1980s based on the method used to attach roof tiles. In terms of material selection, terracotta facade rails are primarily made of aluminum, with steel also being used in some cases. Stone facade are primarily made of steel, while terracotta facade often use a mix of steel and aluminum.
Features
Lightweight Design:Using aluminum alloy or a steel-aluminum hybrid, the weight is only half that of a stone facade system. The unit weight of 18mm terracotta panels is controlled within the range of 45-65kg/m². This reduces building loads and is particularly suitable for high-rise buildings.
Material Synergy:The aluminum alloy rail and terracotta panels have similar thermal expansion coefficients, reducing thermal stress.
The dedicated mounting system allows for ±3mm three-dimensional adjustment.The open structural design allows for free air circulation.
