I. Workflow
Exhaust Gas Capture: A gas hood covers the pollution source and draws the exhaust gas into the treatment system through negative pressure suction.
Primary Filtration: A dry filter intercepts dust and large particles.
Neutralization and Purification: Acidic exhaust gas enters the spray tower and reacts with alkaline solution to produce a salt solution that is recycled.
Deep Adsorption: Organic waste gas/cyanide is degraded through activated carbon adsorption and discharged through the chimney after meeting standards.

IV. Operation and Maintenance Key Points

Clean dust from the filter monthly, and replace the activated carbon and packing layer every six months;
2. Troubleshooting: Abnormal fan vibration: Check the impeller for corrosion or dust accumulation, and calibrate the dynamic balance;
Decreased purification efficiency: Check the spray liquid concentration, activated carbon saturation, and nozzle blockage.

Acidic Waste Gases: Acid mist (sulfuric acid, hydrofluoric acid) from electroplating tanks;
Organic Waste Gases: Cyanide and VOCs emitted from stripping and cleaning processes;
Dust Control: Metal dust (chromium, nickel) from polishing and grinding processes.
I. Core Structural Modules
1. Exhaust Gas Collection System
Gas Hood: Made of stainless steel, fiberglass, or corrosion-resistant PP, it covers pollution sources such as electroplating tanks and pickling tanks. A partially enclosed or side-suction design improves exhaust gas collection efficiency (air velocity 0.5-1.5 m/s).
Exhaust Duct: Made of fiberglass or PVC, with a diameter of 150-500 mm, the layout minimizes bends to reduce air resistance and prevent dust accumulation.
2. Pretreatment Unit
Dry Filter: A metal filter (pore size ≤ 2 mm) intercepts large dust particles and liquid droplets, protecting downstream purification equipment.
Wet Scrubber (Optional): Initially neutralizes acidic exhaust gases using a water curtain or spray, reducing the load on subsequent treatment.
II. Multi-Stage Purification Devices
1. Acid and Alkali Waste Gas Treatment Unit
Spray Tower: Tower Material: 316L stainless steel or fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP), resistant to highly corrosive environments with a pH range of 1-14;
Padding: PP Pall rings/Raschig rings increase the gas-liquid contact area and improve neutralization efficiency (e.g., neutralizing sulfuric acid mist with NaOH solution);
Mist Eliminator: Wire mesh or baffle structure removes entrained droplets, ensuring a discharge humidity of ≤50 mg/m³.
Condensation Recovery Unit (for high-concentration waste gas): Condenses and recovers acid and alkali vapors through cooling, suitable for high-boiling-point pollutants such as hydrofluoric acid.
2. Organic Waste Gas/Heavy Metal Treatment Unit
Activated Carbon Adsorption Tower: Honeycomb activated carbon absorbs cyanide, VOCs, and chromic acid mist, with an adsorption efficiency of ≥85%. The saturated carbon layer requires regular replacement;
Catalytic Combustion Unit (RCO): Decomposes high-concentration organic waste gas at high temperatures, while a heat exchange system reduces energy consumption.
III. Power and Auxiliary Systems
1. Corrosion-Resistant Fan:
Made of fiberglass or polypropylene, with air volume of 1000-100,000 m³/h and air pressure of 800-2000 Pa, suitable for different operating conditions.
VFD controls adjust air volume, saving energy and reducing noise.
2. Circulating Fluid System
The spray tower is equipped with an alkaline solution circulation pump (such as NaOH solution), with real-time pH monitoring and automatic refilling.
3.The wastewater is separated from salts in a sedimentation tank before being discharged or reused.
IV. Control and Emission Systems
1. Automated Control Cabinet
Integrated pH sensor and air pressure monitoring module enable fault alarms and remote control of operating parameters.
Linked production line start and stop to avoid idle energy consumption.
2. Chimney Exhaust Outlet
Height ≥ 15 m, accelerating exhaust gas diffusion and dilution, in compliance with the "Comprehensive Emission Standard for Air Pollutants" (GB16297-1996).
Equipped with online monitoring instruments (such as VOCs and heavy metal detection modules) to ensure compliance with emission standards.
