The gabion mesh is made of low-carbon steel wire with high corrosion resistance, high strength, and ductility, or steel wire coated with PVC, which is mechanically woven. The box structure made from this mesh is the gabion mesh box. According to ASTM and EN standards, the diameter of low-carbon steel wire used varies according to engineering design requirements. Generally between 2.0-4.0mm, the tensile strength of the gabion mesh steel wire is not less than 38kg/m2, the weight of the metal coating is generally higher than 245g/m2, and the diameter of the edge line of the gabion mesh is generally larger than the diameter of the mesh line. The length of the double stranded part shall not be less than 50mm to ensure that the metal coating and PVC coating of the stranded steel wire are not damaged.
It can be produced according to the design requirements of the drawings. Generally, the machine is up to 4m wide and any length. However, the conventional size of Renault pad in China is 6*2*0.3m, mesh: 6*8cm, wire diameter: 2.0mm. Materials: galvanized, galvanized PVC (PVC color is usually gray or green), Galfan commonly known as 5% or 10% zinc aluminum alloy, zinc aluminum alloy coated PVC. Zinc aluminum alloy material is the best quality of these products, and its service life is 70~80 years! The cage size is generally 2*1*1m 4*1*1m 1*1*1m, and the mesh pad size is generally 6*2*0.3m 6*2*0.17m 4*2*0.35m.
Gabion pad material:
(1) Galvanized steel wire: high-quality low-carbon steel wire, with a diameter of 2.0mm-4.0mm, and a tensile strength of not less than 380MPa. The surface of the steel wire is protected by hot galvanizing. The thickness of the galvanized protective layer is made according to the customer's requirements, and the maximum amount of galvanizing can reach 300g/m2.
(2) Zinc-5% aluminum mixed rare earth alloy steel wire: (also known as golfan) steel wire, which is a new material in the world in recent years, has corrosion resistance more than three times that of traditional pure galvanizing. The diameter of the steel wire can reach 2.0mm-4.0mm, and the tensile strength of the steel wire is not less than 380MPa.
(3) Galvanized steel wire wrapped with plastic: high-quality low-carbon steel wire is wrapped with a layer of PVC or PE protective layer on the surface of the steel wire, and then woven into gabion nets of various specifications. This protective layer will greatly increase the protection in highly polluted environment, and make it integrate with the surrounding environment through the selection of different colors.
(4) Zinc-5% aluminum mixed rare earth alloy steel wire wrapped with plastic: a layer of PVC or PE protective layer is wrapped on the surface of Zinc-5% aluminum mixed rare earth alloy steel wire, and then woven into gabion nets of various specifications. This protective layer will greatly increase the protection in highly polluted environment, and make it integrate with the surrounding environment through the selection of different colors.
