Rosemount Radar Level Gauge Sensor 5408 Rosemount Non-contact Solid Liquid
The Rosemount 5408 is a non-contact radar level transmitter developed by Emerson, designed for continuous measurement of liquid and solid materials. It uses frequency modulated continuous wave (FMCW) technology, which combines high precision and strong adaptability.
Core technical features
1. FMCW radar technology
With 26GHz high-frequency signal, the signal-to-noise ratio is increased by 30 times, with strong penetrability, which can cope with foam, dust and other interferences;
The measurement accuracy reaches ± 2mm (solid mode) and ± 5mm (liquid mode), with a minimum measurable dielectric constant;
2.Intelligent Algorithm and Diagnosis
Built in solid material algorithm, capable of handling inclined surfaces, rapid material level changes, and low dielectric constant media;
Support signal quality detection and NE 107 standardized alarm, provide preventive maintenance warning;
3.Environmental adaptability
Pressure resistance of 100 bar, operating temperature range of -60 ℃ to+250 ℃, suitable for harsh environments such as chemical and power industries;
Optional air blowing antenna to prevent dust accumulation from affecting the signal;
