Product Descrption
Die Collar is a special external fishing tool which is engaged on the outside wall of tubing objects such as oil tubing and drill pipe. The Die Collar are made up of high quality alloy steel and processed by special heat treatment, having the advantages of high strength, high toughness and easy tapping.
Function: die collars are used go engage the outside diameter of a fish, usually in situations where conventional releasing overshots would not be a feasible option. They are designed to tap threads into the steel so that the fish can be retrieved or the fishing job can be continued.
