How to adjust the drying efficiency of the disc dryer?
Working principle of disc dryer:
The disc dryer continuously adds wet materials from the feeder to the first layer of drying disc on the upper part of the dryer. The rake arm rotates to stir the materials continuously. The materials rotate in a spiral shape on the drying disc. Large materials fall into the drying disc of the next layer to continue drying. Through the continuous alternation of the upper and lower drying discs, the materials can continue to flow through the dryer. Under the drying of the heating medium, the materials can be fully dried and fall into the cooling disc on the bottom layer. They are sent out of the discharge port by the rake leaves, and the moisture is discharged from the top layer through the induced draft fan.
Adjustment method to improve the drying efficiency of disc dryer:
Adjust operating parameters: including product moisture content, spindle speed, feeder speed, steam pressure, temperature, flow rate, motor current, etc. By adjusting the feeding amount and the speed of the dryer main engine, the actual working conditions are close to the design requirements, thereby improving the drying efficiency.
Optimize drying medium: Select a suitable heating medium (such as saturated steam, hot water, thermal oil, etc.) and control its temperature and flow rate to ensure that the material is heated evenly and effectively.
Improve material distribution: Ensure uniform distribution of materials on the drying plate to avoid material accumulation or slippage, so as to maximize the contact area between the material and the drying medium.
Control drying time: According to the characteristics of the material and the drying requirements, reasonably set the drying time to avoid over-drying or under-drying.
