This walking winch was modified from a hand-supported tractor, with its gearboxes redesigned to include a three-level gear deceleration and gravity brake mechanism. The front of the gearbox extends a half-axis on both the left and right sides to drive the tire and further improve its operation. Additionally, the grinding cylinder shaft is extended to drive the rotation of the grinding cylinder for twisted operation.
Despite being modified, this machine still retains the characteristics of a hand-supported tractor, such as being easy to manipulate, having flexible movement, and excellent driving performance. But more than that, the modification also enables it to meet operations required in transmission line construction such as launching, tightening, traction, lifting, and transportation.
