SPTE (Steel Plate Tin Electrolytic):
Features:
It is an electrolytic tin-plated plate of Japanese product standards with relatively consistent thickness and good strength. It is stronger than ordinary ETP materials, while maintaining a certain degree of formability, which can meet some application scenarios with high requirements for packaging material strength and forming.
Application: It is often used in food and beverage packaging that requires higher strength and better formability, such as aerosol cans, paint cans, and certain types of bottle caps.
TFS (Tin Free Steel):
Features:
Compared with tinplate, its price is relatively low, which can reduce packaging costs.
The surface has strong adhesion to the coating. After proper treatment, it can be well combined with the coating to meet the appearance and protection requirements of the packaging.
Application: Mainly used for processing crown bottle caps, weakly acidic food cans, etc. However, due to its extremely thin chrome plating layer, it basically does not provide corrosion resistance, so it is not suitable for long-term storage of food and beverages.
