Working Principle

• The EPP molding machine operates based on the principle of steam molding. Firstly, EPP beads are loaded into the mold cavity. Then, steam is introduced into the cavity to heat and expand the EPP beads. Under the action of heat and pressure, the EPP beads soften and fuse together to form the desired shape. Finally, the mold is cooled, usually by circulating water, to solidify the molded product, and then the product is ejected from the mold.

Structural Components

• Mold System: It consists of upper and lower molds, which are precisely designed according to the shape of the product to be molded. The mold surface is smooth to ensure the surface quality of the product. There are also channels for steam and cooling water in the mold to realize the circulation of steam heating and water cooling.
