Equipment Overview
Place: The location should be fitted with proper lighting and a waterproof leakage protection switch (or outlet), an American standard charging connector, a level ground surface, and a well-functioning water supply and drainage system.
Water Source: Clean or tap water free of impurities, with a water filtration system installed.
Samples and Restrictions: Self-ballasted light bulbs and lamp adapters, U.S. standard charging connector.
Structure: The apparatus comprises three UL spray nozzles, three pressure meters, three control valves, and a water supply pipe frame.
Application: Designed to assess the enclosure’s protective capabilities for self-ballasted lamps, lamp adapters, and U.S. standard charging connectors under UL-specified water spray conditions.
Principle: Conducting a spray test on the specimen by regulating water supply pressure and adjusting the distance between the nozzle and the test sample.
