The telescopic arm developed for 20-45-ton excavators offers versatile functionality and significantly enhances the excavator's value proposition. It plays a pivotal role in various specialized working conditions, including municipal construction, subway construction, foundation pits, and caisson excavation. Additionally, the telescopic arm's short swing distance enables its utilization in narrow spaces, complementing the limitations of extended arms.
The 14-meter telescopic arm, designed for 20-ton excavators, features a 0.45 CBM bucket specifically tailored to the dimensions of the Komatsu 120 excavator's end arm front rod. With an excavation capacity of 96kn, this telescopic arm can dig up to a maximum depth of 13.8 meters, surpassing the 18-meter extended arm of the same model by one meter. Consequently, it offers improved overall working efficiency compared to long reach arms.
To enable a 20-ton excavator to accommodate the 14-meter telescopic arm, we achieved a breakthrough by utilizing Baosteel 700 material for the telescopic arm's box structure, while the remaining parts are constructed from Q355B material. The box of the telescopic arm is bent, eliminating the need for four-sided welding. This design enhances the excavation power of the telescopic arm. Furthermore, the bucket cylinder design differs from most domestic telescopic arm manufacturers, focusing on preventing soil leakage during loading and facilitating unloading. We have adjusted the angle of the overall bucket cylinder and connecting rod to meet current operational requirements.
For the built-in oil cylinders, we employ high-quality cylinders from renowned domestic brands. Our company specifically configures oil cylinders with larger piston rods, increased cylinder outer diameters, faster operation speeds, and extended service life for telescopic arms of the same tonnage model. Additionally, this telescopic arm can achieve a 50cm deeper digging depth compared to arms of equal length. The lifting angle and loading and transportation angles have been optimized to enable faster and more efficient loading and unloading, reducing operation time and improving overall productivity.
