Product Description-------Excavator Telescopic Boom
What is an excavator telescopic arm?
This product is mainly composed of a fixed body, a sliding body, a wire rope and a telescopic cylinder. By changing the number of sliding bodies, the ideal working radius and vertical excavation range can be achieved. It is generally used in conjunction with a bucket to complete deep pit excavation tasks such as grabbing soil, sand or coal.
What are your advantages?
Advantages of telescopic arm:
1. The three-section telescopic arm is made of BS900E and Q355B, which is lighter and more durable.
2. We use 6mm thickness.
3. The slider is made of nylon and the pulley is made of steel. All hoses are centrally lubricated.
4. The bucket cylinder has an external hose pulley, which makes it easier to replace the hose and repair it.
5. The external hose pulley separates the hose from the main rope. Avoid friction between the main rope and the hose and reduce failures.
6. The double rope design ensures the safety of the telescopic arm. Even if the main rope breaks, the arm will not extend.

Q: Why is there a difference between a bucket and a grab bucket for telescopic arms?
A: Generally, for silt and gravel, the bucket is easy to use, has a large digging volume, and is more efficient. However, in general sand and gravel operations, the bucket has no digging force and is restricted by the opening, so the efficiency of the bucket will be reduced. The grab bucket is more suitable for this operation. However, due to the large overall weight of the grab bucket, the volume of the grab bucket is generally smaller than the bucket bucket, but in operations with more stones, the advantages of the grab bucket are more obvious.
Q: Is it better to use a single cylinder or a double cylinder for a bucket with a telescopic arm?
A: We have always used a double cylinder design and never a single cylinder design. Its advantages are low failure rate, easy maintenance, and less oil leakage. What are the disadvantages of a double cylinder? First of all, the bucket of the double cylinder is heavier and the synchronization of grabbing is poor. The overall weight of a single cylinder is low, the synchronization is good, the grabbing efficiency is high, but the failure rate is high.
Q: What is the material of the telescopic arm?
A: The arm tube uses BS900E, and other parts use Q3558, which is light and durable. We use 6mm thickness.
