DTH Hammers & Bits
ROSCHEN offers a comprehensive range of WORLD CLASS quality grade DTH bits in global market, which were use in all rock types and drilling conditions. Bit life and rate of penetration are the most important criteria in selecting the right bit for a particular application.
Choosing the right hammer is largely determined by the hole size and type of rock formation. Ideally, the size of the hammer should match the required hole dimension as closely as possible, leaving just enough space for cuttings to evacuate the hole.
DTH bits are available in sizes from 2" to 36". Bits come in three different standard bit head/face designs (Convex, Flat Face, and Concave), and with a number of tungsten carbide insert options, to guarantee a DTH drill bit that can tackle any challenge and rock-face formation. Additional bit head designs and custom options are available depending upon manufacturer.
Most DTH hammers are designed for use with the industry’s most common bit shank types. This allows for the use of one bit on multiple hammers.
