Description
This 12G-SDI Fiber Optic Extender could transmit 4×3G SDI digital video signals at the same time to a long distance between SDI Source and Sink devices. 4X3G-SDI also could be made of 4K@60Hz 12G-SDI signal. The transmission distance can be up to 80km. The transmission distance will be depended on what kind of optical sfp module you use on the extender. It includes two parts: one is 4 lanes Transmitter and another one is 4 lanes Receiver. It could be used over 4 core fiber optic cables or used with CWDM&DWDM mux

1. Extend SDI signal up to 2km~80km over fiber optics
2. Data rate per lane up to 3G, total 12G for 4K
3. Bandwidth range from 19.4Mb/s to 2.97Gb/s
4. SMPTE 424M (2.97Gb/s) clock recovery
5. support all popular standards for digital video transport such as SMPTE 424M, SMPTE 292M, and SMPTE 259M, SMPTE 297M working at 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, SD-SDI, ASI respectively
6. Longer, thinner cable without EMI/RFI emissions
7. Support automatic cable equalization based on the data rate detected
