- Content: This standard specifies in detail the method of evaluating the flame retardant performance of protective clothing by simulating a fire environment (such as heat flux, flame distribution and duration of controlled flashover conditions) through a burning manikin. The degree and total area of ​​human skin burns are predicted through the manikin surface sensor data.

 

2. ISO 13506 series

Performance characteristics

1. The dummy model is made of a composite of fiberglass and flame-retardant resin (fiberglass), and its dimensions meet the standard requirements;

 

2. The dummy model is designed to withstand high temperatures and is used for naked calibration testing at a flame intensity of 84 kW/m2, exposed to an open flame for no less than 12 seconds;

 

3. The surface of the dummy body is uniformly divided into 123 areas, each of which is equipped with a simulated human skin temperature sensor;

 

4. High temperature resistant metal tubes are embedded in the neck of the dummy to provide support, and sensor cables can extend up to 10

meters through the tubes;

 

5. Simulate human skin temperature sensor with extremely high measurement sensitivity and machine response time, which can be quickly installed in human body models;

 

6. Specialized sensor calibration device, including sensor accuracy calibration and origin calibration functions;

 

7. Burner array, consisting of 12 cast iron burners distributed around the human body model, can evenly apply flames to the human body model;

 

8. Cast iron burner, equipped with steel burner tube, adjusting handle and needle valve, with flame protection function to ensure that there will be no backfire during combustion;
