Single Wire And Cable Vertical Combustion Tester Production introduction:

 

The single wire and cable vertical combustion tester is mainly used to detect the flame retardant properties of the insulating materials of wires and cables under abnormal working conditions (such as overheating, overload or short circuit). The equipment strictly simulates the flame spread of the cable when it is laid vertically. It can accurately evaluate the speed of the flame spreading along the longitudinal direction of the sample and simultaneously observe the ignition effect of the molten dripping during the combustion process. The combustion box door must be kept open during the test (Note: The box door is designed only for equipment protection and daily dust prevention. According to the requirements of the standard test procedures, it must be opened during the experiment to ensure air circulation and observation field). This device complies with international general flame retardant test standards and is widely used in the verification of fire safety performance of power cables, communication cables and optical fiber composite cables.

- Name: Tests on electric and optical fibre cables under fire conditions - Part 1-1: Test for vertical flame propagation for a single insulated wire or cable
- Scope: Vertical flame test for a single wire or cable (flame height 20mm).

 

2. IEC 60332-1-2
- Name: Test for vertical flame propagation for a single insulated wire or cable - Procedure for 1 kW pre-mixed flame
- Scope: Vertical flame test using 1kW pre-mixed flame (flame height 125mm).

 

3. IEC 60332-1-3

● Blowtorch: nominal power is 1kw;

● Ignition device: automatic high-pressure ignition;
