The battery thermal runaway monitoring sensor KGD - ATRS - 319 can effectively monitor indicators such as CO₂+CO, temperature, and pressure released before battery thermal runaway is triggered, and transmit the measurement signals to the BMS through CAN communication. This solution has significant characteristics such as accurate measurement, fast response time, less cross - interference, low power consumption, and long service life.
Product Features
 
  • For CO₂ measurement, Non - Dispersive Infrared (NDIR) spectroscopy absorption technology is adopted. In the measurement range of 0 - 10000ppm, the accuracy can reach ±(50ppm + 5% of the reading); the response time is fast with T90 < 15s, there is no gas cross - interference, the ultra - low power consumption mode can reach μA level, and the service life can reach 15 years.
  • For CO measurement, a self - designed MEMS production line is used to produce metal oxide semiconductor MOX sensors. Electronic nose technology is adopted to screen for good selectivity for CO gas, with little influence from temperature and humidity, and stable detection signals. Meanwhile, it can expand the detection of various other gases according to the manufacturer's research results on thermal runaway; the service life of the semiconductor CO sensor exceeds 15 years, and it has corrosion resistance to silicone gases.
  • The MEMS MOX sensor for CO measurement has little influence from temperature and humidity, stable detection signals, and can expand the detection of various gases; its service life exceeds 15 years, and it has good corrosion resistance to silicone gases.
  • The module adopts a vehicle - grade mature circuit design and can adapt to harsh vehicle - mounted environments.
  • CAN real - time communication, with a protection level up to IP65.
