10T Tube Ice Machine
This tube ice machine can produce 10 tons of ice per day. The whole unit consists of 3 parts: evaporator, compressor and cooling tower. Dimension(L*W*H): Unit:L1800*W1500*H1600mm, evaporator:L1180*W1180*H3500mm, cooling Tower:Φ2000*H2410mm. Operating Weight: Unit:1560kg, evaporator:2296kg, cooling Tower:670kg.
FEATURES AT A GLANCE
Principle of ice making
1. Tube ice is formed in a vertical shell-and-tube vessel by water passing down inside the tubes which are cooled by the circulation of refrigerant on the outer surface. 2. As the ice falls from the tubes it is cut by the rotating ice cutter to a desired size. The ice tubes are about 50 mm in length and 21, 28, 34mm three options in external diameter. 3. When the ice reaches the desired thickness, water will stop flowing automatically. The refrigerant is removed to a surge drum and hot gas is circulated around the tubes causing the ice tubes to melt and slide down.

Compared with other kinds of ice, tube ice has the highest density which is pure, difficult to melt and completely conforms to food standards, It can be directly eaten or used to freeze drinks, mix wines, cool foodstuffs, make ice pastries and keep fresh,etc.
