Chemical Stability: Unaffected by alcohols, dilute acids, alkalis, soap, and common household detergents.
Color Retention: Features excellent color fastness; clear variants are non-yellowing.
Applications
Glass-related installations: Ideal for sealing joints between glass panels—such as in window glazing, glass shelves, or glass partitions—thanks to its strong adhesion to glass and quick curing, which suit these non-porous, non-reactive surfaces. It also works for bonding glass to aluminum frames (in standard windows or doors) where the aluminum is not sensitive to mild acidity.
Indoor non-sensitive materials: Suitable for sealing ceramic tiles in dry indoor areas (e.g., kitchen backsplashes, non-wet room walls), as ceramic resists the mild acidity released during curing. It can also fix and seal PVC pipes, plastic fixtures, or acrylic surfaces, where corrosion risk is minimal.
DIY and general household repairs: A go-to for small-scale projects like sealing gaps around bathroom mirrors (glass-to-wall joints), securing loose ceramic toilet bases, or sealing plastic accessories—benefiting from its affordability and easy application. It also serves temporary or non-critical outdoor uses (e.g., sealing plastic garden fixtures) where exposure to extreme elements is limited.
Non-alkaline, non-reactive substrates: Effective for sealing joints in fiberglass products, certain painted woods (with non-alkaline paints), or rubber materials—surfaces less likely to be damaged by the acetic acid released during curing.
