1, Scope and Principle of Application
Corn dryer is a grain dryer specifically designed for corn. Its working principle is to use hot air as the heat medium to dry grains. Hot air enters through the intake ventilation joint and passes through the grain layer in a downward direction. Waste gas is discharged through the exhaust corner shaped box, and the hot air flows in the same direction as the grain flow (this type is called concurrent flow). Corn has a large yield and high heat resistance, making the concurrent flow corn dryer more suitable. The concurrent flow corn dryer mainly consists of a drying section, a tempering section, a cooling section, etc. It adopts the process of concurrent flow drying and counter current cooling, and has multiple drying sections, each with a tempering section below it. The process flow is long and the drying is sufficient.
