Product Introduction
Most power cable of distribution system is installed in the ground of city. Some of them will be failure after long time service. HYCF is applied to detect the failure point of those power cables. The cable can be test by HYCF include the low voltage cable (0~1000V), high voltage cable (1kv~35kv) and communication cable. The fault type of the power cable can be detected by HYCF include the disconnection of cable, lower insulation to earth, lower resistance or high resistance connected to earth and poor contacts of cable connector.
High speed sample system and high bandwidth input circuit are integrated in the tester to get the exact reflection curve of signal so that the distance of fault point to signal sample point can be calculated in high accuracy and high resolution. Special sound location tester configuration can be applied to locate the fault point more exactly.
