Silica lightweight insulation bricks with an SiO2 content of ≥ 91 % are manufactured with a classified raw density in the range of 0.5 g/cm3to 1.25 g/cm3 by the use of selected SiO2 rich raw materials and pore formers and by using the so called dry pressing procedure. Silica light bricks are classifed in group 30 by ASTM standards.

Silica refractory brick are mainly used for coke oven, hot blast stove, acid steel making furnace and glass melting furnace. The products can be manufactured according to customers’ different requirements.
