Product Description:      

    The elevator link is a special tool used to hang the lifting card in the oil drilling and geological exploration departments. According to the structure and purpose, it can be divided into single-arm elevator link, double-arm elevator link, and faucet elevator link.

    Design safety factor n=2.25~3.

    Rated load: 75~750USton.

    The single-arm elevator link produced and sold by our company Huichi petro is die-forged at both ends, and the middle rod is free forged and drawn. The forgings are specially heat-treated. 100% of the products are tested by non-destructive testing. The single-arm elevator link has been subjected to a factory load test of 1.5 times the rated working load. There are rated load and other marks on the single-arm elevator link. The surface of the single-arm elevator link is painted with finished paint. It is suitable for drilling operations in deep wells and ultra-deep wells. This single-arm elevator link is used in pairs.

Instructions for use:

  1) Before using the elevator link, the operator should be responsible for determining the safe working load of the lifting operation of the elevator link. It is recommended that the safe working load of the lifting operation of the elevator link be 0.8 times the rated load.

  2) Before using the elevator link, the operator should confirm that the rated load of the elevator link used matches the rated load of the hook and the elevator.

  3) Before use, check whether the paired elevator links are effectively fixed together and whether the paired numbers of the two elevator links are consistent.

  4) When using, disassemble the paired elevator links, put the large ring of the elevator link on the hook, and put the small ring of the elevator link into the ear holes on both sides of the elevator. Finally, insert the safety pin to prevent the elevator link from falling out (Note: When installing the elevator link, the small head of the elevator link should be bent inward).

  5) The elevator links are strictly inspected before leaving the factory. After a period of use (recommended 3 months or the end of drilling a well), the elevator links should be fully inspected. The results are: the high stress area should meet the level 2 requirements specified in JB4730, and other areas meet the level 3 requirements. If cracks appear, it is strictly prohibited to use and repair. All inspections should be recorded and saved for product tracking. See Figure 1 for the high stress area of ​​the elevator link.

  6) The elevator link should be lifted vertically during the lifting operation.

  7) It is strictly forbidden to operate beyond the rated load (the sum of dynamic load and static load).

  8) If the bearing surface of the elevator link is excessively worn (the wear amount of the top of the upper and lower rings of the elevator link is ≥3mm), it should be strictly prohibited to use.

  9) The elevator link material has been tested at -20℃ and the performance meets the specified requirements. Therefore, if the temperature is lower than -20℃, the elevator link should be stopped from use.

Maintenance:

  1) After using the elevator link every day, the elevator link should be rinsed with a hose or brushed clean to keep the elevator link clean.

  2) When the elevator link is not used continuously, the surface should be coated with anti-rust grease to prevent rust and placed in a ventilated and dry place.

  3) The elevator link should be inspected every day during or before use. The inspection content includes: whether the elevator link has cracks or excessive wear. If cracks or excessive wear are found, it should be stopped from use or replaced.

  4) After the drilling operation of each well is completed, the elevator link should be removed, cleaned, and non-destructive inspection should be carried out to ensure the safety of the elevator link during use.

  5) Repair and welding of the elevator link is not allowed.
