The taper tap produced and sold by our company Huichi petro is a tool specially used for making buckles and salvaging from the inner holes of drill pipes, oil pipes and other perforated objects. It has a high success rate for salvaging pipes with couplings. The taper tap is used in conjunction with positive and negative buckle drill pipes and other tools, and can be used for different salvage processes. The taper tap is made of high-strength alloy steel forgings and is made after heat treatment. In order to facilitate buckle making, the taper tap has a cutting groove.
The taper tap is a long conical integral structure, which can be divided into two parts: the joint and the salvage thread. The upper part of the joint has a thread connected to the drill pipe for connecting the guide shoe. The taper tap has water holes from top to bottom.
After the taper tap enters the inner hole of the salvaged object, appropriate drilling pressure is applied, and the drill bit is rotated to force the salvage thread to squeeze into the inner wall of the fish to make a buckle.When the buckle can withstand a certain tension and torque, the object can be completely or partially fished out by lifting or inverting.
After using the tool, clean the tool thoroughly and inspect it carefully. Use a steel brush to clean the joint thread and salvage thread, and apply butter for maintenance. For well-killing fluid containing salt, alkali and other corrosive substances, rinse it repeatedly with clean water before maintenance to avoid rust.
Advantages: simple structure, easy operation, convenient processing and maintenance.
Disadvantages: Taper tap salvage must be pressurized and rotated to make buckles. When inverting the long stuck object, if the operation is improper or other reasons, it may cause multiple sections of loose buckles, the phenomenon of fish thread inversion, and the formation of multiple fish tops, which increases the number of salvage and the difficulty of salvage.
