The Float Collar & Float Shoe produced and sold by our company Huichi petro are the core tool sets in the cementing operation of oil casing. They are designed to effectively isolate the drilling fluid and cement slurry during cementing operations, prevent crossflow, and ensure that the cement slurry can be evenly distributed between the casing and the well wall, thereby improving the cementing quality. The built-in check valve of the float collar is installed on the casing string, and the float shoe is equipped with a guide structure and installed at the bottom of the casing string. It is an important component for guiding the casing to be smoothly lowered into the wellbore. Although the two devices are located in different positions, their functions complement each other. Working principle of the float collar

The float collar is equipped with a check valve inside, which is like a "smart switch". During the cementing process, when cement slurry is injected from the drill pipe into the casing and flows downward, the pressure of the cement slurry will push open the one-way valve, allowing it to flow smoothly through the float collar to the float shoe, and then fill the annular space between the casing and the well wall. When the cement slurry injection is completed and the pumping pressure disappears, the one-way valve will automatically close to prevent the cement slurry from flowing back, ensuring that the cement slurry remains stable in the annular space, creating conditions for the formation of a high-quality cement ring. This one-way flow design effectively avoids the adverse effects of cement slurry backflow on the cementing quality and ensures the cementing operation.

Working principle of the floating shoe

The front end of the floating shoe is streamlined, which can reduce the friction resistance between the casing and the well wall during the process of the casing being lowered into the wellbore, and guide the casing to be lowered smoothly. At the same time, a one-way valve is also installed inside the floating shoe, and its working principle is similar to that of the floating collar. During the cement slurry injection stage, the one-way valve is opened to allow the cement slurry to pass; after the cement slurry injection is completed, the one-way valve is closed to prevent the cement slurry from flowing back. In addition, the floating shoe can also protect the bottom of the casing to prevent the casing from being damaged during the lowering process.

3. Anti-rotation optimization: The anti-rotation float shoe/float collar is equipped with an anti-rotation flower head and a rubber plug to avoid rotation when drilling and removing the cement plug, improving the operation efficiency by 30%.
4. High sulfur and corrosion resistance: The body is made of phenolic resin + alloy steel, and the spring is made of tin bronze, which is suitable for sulfur-containing formations and high temperature and high pressure (-30℃~150℃) environments.
5. Strong adaptability: It is suitable for various complex geological conditions and drilling process requirements, and can perform excellent performance in drilling operations under deep wells, ultra-deep wells or special geological conditions.
