The Bosch Rexroth 4WE10J73-3X/CG24N9K4/A12 (R900560858) is a high-performance directional spool valve designed to manage the start, stop, and direction of fluid flow within a hydraulic system. This solenoid-actuated valve comprises a robust housing, electronic solenoids, a control spool, and return springs. The wet-pin electronic solenoids are responsible for moving the control spool from its rest position to the activated position, thus directing the flow between ports. In its de-energized state, the control spool returns to its original position thanks to the return springs. This model features a manual override that enables manual actuation of the valve without electrical power to the solenoids. Additionally, it includes throttle inserts that can be utilized in channels P, A, B, or T to increase flow resistance and adapt to fluctuating operational conditions that may exceed the valve's performance limit.
The 4WE10J73-3X/CG24N9K4/A12 is engineered without spring return in its default state but can be configured with detent (OF version) to maintain the control spool's position without continuous current supply, enhancing energy efficiency. However, it is important to note that pressure peaks in tank lines may inadvertently shift the control spool if detents are used; separate return lines or check valves are recommended in such cases. This directional valve supports 3 or 4-way configurations and features high-power solenoids. It adheres to ISO porting patterns and boasts wet-pin AC solenoids with detachable coils that can rotate by 90 degrees for easy servicing. The coils can be replaced without opening the pressure-tight chamber for added convenience. Electrical connections are versatile—available as individual connections or central connections—with optional auxiliary operating devices. Designed for demanding hydraulic applications, this Bosch Rexroth valve has a maximum operating pressure of 350 bar and supports maximum flow rates up to 120 liters per minute. It belongs to component series 6X and 7X which ensures reliability and compatibility with contemporary hydraulic systems.
