The Sun Cartridge Valve DMDA-XAN is a high-performance, solenoid-operated, cartridge valve manufactured by Sun Hydraulics. This valve is a three-way, two-position, direct-acting, balanced spool valve suitable for a variety of hydraulic systems. The DMDA-XAN valve uses a solenoid assembly to directly actuate the valve core, opening and closing the hydraulic circuit or switching the direction. This direct-acting mechanism requires no minimum hydraulic operating pressure to operate. The valve core is closed in the transition position between the two positions, ensuring reliable shutoff during switching. Furthermore, the solenoid assembly has a fatigue rating of up to 5000 psi (350 bar), making it suitable for high-pressure applications. The valve can be configured with EPDM seals for compatibility with a variety of working media.
