The Bosch Rexroth 4WE6X7-6X/EG24N9K4QMAG24 (R900619358) is a high-performance directional control valve designed for efficiently managing the start, stop, and direction of fluid flow within hydraulic systems. This model features two solenoid-operated spools that can be manually actuated as an auxiliary function without the need for an electrical supply. It operates without a spring return in its deenergized state and comes with the option of a detent mechanism to maintain the spool's position, allowing for energy savings by removing the need for continuous current to the solenoids. The valve's housing includes one or two electromagnets, a control spool, and return springs (except for versions O and OF). The electromagnets enable precise movement of the control spool from its rest position to activate the desired flow direction. After de-energization, except in models without spring return or with detent, the spool returns to its initial position due to the action of return springs.
This particular model is engineered with soft switching characteristics which significantly reduce switching strokes and associated acceleration values during operation, offering smoother transitions and potentially extending service life.
