Product Description
The Bosch Rexroth 3WE6B9-6X/EG24N9K4 (R900907814) is a high-performance directional control valve designed for precise control over the start, stop, and direction of fluid flow within hydraulic systems. This solenoid-operated directional spool valve is characterized by its robust construction, which includes a durable housing, one or two electromagnets, a control spool, and return springs. The valve operates by shifting the control spool to allow fluid flow in the desired direction when the electromagnet is energized. Once de-energized, the spool returns to its neutral position via return springs or remains in place with detent for versions with this feature. This particular model is versatile in application due to its capability to manually switch without magnet supply thanks to an auxiliary actuation mechanism. It's designed for efficient operation with reduced switching strokes and soft switching behavior that minimizes wear during on/off cycles.
The valve also features high-power solenoids that can be optionally rotated by 90 degrees and offers various electrical connection options including single or central connections. For monitoring purposes, spool position monitoring is available as an option. The valve ensures CE conformity for electrical safety standards applicable in the EU and optionally includes UL-approved solenoid coils. It may also be approved according to CSA standards. The 3WE6B9-6X/EG24N9K4 has a porting pattern in accordance with ISO standards and comes in different configurations including 2-way or 3-way versions with or without locating holes. It supports maximum operating pressures of up to 350 bar and can handle maximum flows of up to DC 60 l/min and AC 60 l/min respectively. Notably, this model requires proper venting of the hydraulic system for optimal performance and may experience internal leakage over its service life due to design principles. A throttle insert may be necessary under certain operating conditions where flows exceed the valve's performance limit during switching processes.
