Product Description
The Bosch Rexroth DR20-5-5X/50Y (R900598360) is a sophisticated pressure reducing valve designed for efficient hydraulic flow control. This valve is part of the DR series and is specifically engineered to maintain a consistent secondary circuit pressure regardless of fluctuations in the primary circuit. It achieves this through its main spool insert and a pilot control valve that includes a pressure adjustment element. Constructed to be normally open, the DR20-5-5X/50Y allows hydraulic fluid to move freely from channel B to channel A when in a rest position. The system's equilibrium is maintained by the balance between the pressure applied at channel A against the spring-set pressure at the pilot control valve. Upon reaching the set spring pressure, the ball opens, causing the control spool to shift towards closing, thereby achieving the desired reduced pressure.
This model features external pilot oil return into the tank via a control line and offers an optional check valve for free return flow from channel A to channel B. Additionally, it includes a pressure gauge connection for monitoring reduced pressure in channel A. The DR20-5-5X/50Y is designed for subplate mounting with porting patterns according to ISO standards and can also be used as a cartridge valve with threaded connections. Users can benefit from various adjustment types including rotary knob, sleeve with hexagon and protective cap, lockable rotary knob with scale, or rotary knob with scale depending on specific application needs. With its size tailored for component series X, this model can withstand maximum operating pressures up to bar and accommodate maximum flow rates of l/min. The versatility of this Bosch Rexroth valve makes it suitable for diverse applications requiring precise secondary pressure control within hydraulic systems.
